Westhampton Beach, NY –The Westhampton Beach Fire Department responded to a

2 vehicle MVA on Montauk Highway, east of Aspatuck Road in Quiogue at 12:24pm

on Wednesday, August 2^nd.

The driver and passenger from one vehicle and the driver of the second vehicle were

transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center by the Westhampton War Memorial

Ambulance. The vehicles, one a small SUV and the other a landscaper’s stake bed

truck with a trailer, both sustained substantial damage. Firefighters were on scene for

approximately 45 minutes and the accident is under investigation by the Southampton

Town Police Department.
